In order to promote the Vojvodina Standard, build the municipal capacity and intensify the cooperation, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina visited the Municipality of Apatin on 26th November 2013.

The goal of the visit was to inform the participants about the European integration process, regional and development policies of the European Union and different options for funding and supporting the development of local authorities. The promotion of the document also aimed at preparing institutions in the region for the new phase of regional development and improvement of conditions for the absorption of IPA funds in the following period of accession.

The event was attended by representatives of the local authority, public companies, youth office, cultural institutes and NGOs. The attendees presented their experiences in EU programmes and cooperation with neighbouring municipalities.
