On Thursday, 25th October 2018, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Milan Čežek and Zoran Pavić, and the representative of the Development Agency of Vojvodina, Živko Planić, visited the municipalities of Indjija and Irig.
The hosts in Indjija were Milan Končarević, Assistant Mayor, and his associates, whereas in Irig, Olivera Protić, Head of the Department for Local and Economic Development, and her associates.
As far as Indjija is concerned, no project applications for EU funds has been submitted in the past few years through projects. The municipal officials were informed about all the elements and procedures necessary for formulating successful project proposals to be submitted under EU calls.
As opposed to Indjija, the municipality of Irig performed project activities under the Interreg IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia.
At the request of both municipalities, an agreement was made to organize the Fund’s training course at the earliest possible time, so that the participants could learn to formulate project proposals independently and position them strategically within the defined priorities, measures and financial constraints.
