Fund as a partner in organising the International Scientific Conference Exercise and Quality of Life – From Active Childhood to Healthy Aging

he International Scientific Conference “Exercise and Quality of Life – From Active Childhood to Healthy Aging”, which was organised by the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Novi Sad, was successfully held in Novi Sad from 11th to 13th April 2019. The most prominent scientists in the field, both national and international ones, presented their research during the conference.
Włodzimierz Starosta, Emeritus Professor, President of IASK and representative of the Institute of Sport Warsaw, Poland held the opening remarks. Following that, on behalf of partner institution, Tomislav Krističević PhD, dean of the Faculty of Kinesiology of the University of Zagreb, addressed the audience. After that, the working part of the conference started, when the plenary speakers gave their presentations.
Prof. Nebojša Maksimović PhD, dean of the Faculty, together with the sub-deans handed over the appreciation certificates to all partner institutions that provided support for that important scientific event. Thus, the Fund received an appreciation certificate.
The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Jovana Rapajić and Nemanja Davidović  presented the EU funding opportunities and to explain the development projects that can be submitted as applications under the programmes available to Serbia, as an EU candidate country.
