“Strengthening of institutional infrastructure in Bačka for balanced regional development and use of IPA Component 3 for regional development”
In the period from 26 to 29 June 2012, a four-day seminar was held under the title “Strengthening of institutional infrastructure in Bačka for balanced regional development and use of IPA Component 3 for regional development” on Stara Planina, which was organised by the Regional Development Agency Bačka and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. The aim of the seminar was to link key partners on the territory of Bačka dealing with municipal and regional development and their joint planning of projects for the use of IPA Component 3 for regional development after year 2015. The seminar was attended by the representatives of local economic development offices and economic departments of ten municipalities establishing the Regional Development Agency Bačka, representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Government of Republic of Serbia, representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, international experts and representatives of scientific and research institutions.
The seminar contributed to the strengthening of institutional framework in Bačka for the implementation of projects relevant for balanced regional development, increase in the knowledge of municipal administration employees on institutional framework for balanced regional development and preparation of projects under IPA Component 3 for regional development. The seminar is an activity within the project “Strengthening of institutional infrastructure in Bačka for balanced regional development and use of pre-accession funds of the European Union – IPA Component 3 for regional development”, which is being implemented in the partnership of Regional Development Agency Bačka and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, together with the associates European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management in Novi Sad.
