Committee on European Integration and Interregional Cooperation of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina adopted the 2016 Activity Report of the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina
At its 13th session, the Committee on European Integration and Interregional Cooperation of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina considered and adopted by majority of votes the 2016 Activity Report of the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. In its conclusion, the Committee suggested that the Assembly considers and adopts the 2016 Activity Report of Operations of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina at its session.
The Report was presented by Vidosava Enderić, Director of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina to the members of the Committee. She said that the Fund, in accordance with the strategic priorities and work programme in the reporting period, worked on monitoring, analysing and implementing of the European integrative processes and building and strengthening of the institutional capacities of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and local self-governments aiming at faster integration of the Republic of Serbia into major European processes, as well as on the promotion of economic, scientific, educational and cultural cooperation with European cities and regions and their institutions.
The Fund’s representatives visited 40 municipalities in the territory of AP Vojvodina and intensively provided training within the specialised programme of support for developing and applying for EU projects. It was said at the session that in the reporting period, Vojvodina applied for projects worth EUR 6.5 million within the available IPA funds.
