Open call for proposals for literary translations projects

This year’s call for proposals for literary translation projects opened under the Creative Europe on 7th March 2016. The deadline for submission of application is 27th April 2016, and it is available to publishers with a proposal to translate a specific package of books to European languages.

The somewhat altered conditions and application procedure are published on the website of the European Commission. The modifications refer to the assignment of automatic points to the translations of works having received a European prize for literature. Instead of the 25 points assigned so far, these projects will be able to attain a maximum of 15 automatic points.

All interested publishers from Serbia can reach the Creative Europe Desk Serbia and the Antenna of Creative Europe Desk Serbia related to any queries by means of the contacts indicated on the website.

Publishers can obtain information on literary translation projects from Serbia having received funding under the Creative Europe in 2015 and 2016 under the Successful Projects on the website.

It should be especially emphasized that Serbia ranks third place in terms of success in the call for literary translation projects under the Creative Europe, which shoes the domestic publishers’ great dedication and proactive approach.
