The training course “Prospects of Financing through EU Funds” held in Sombor
The training course ”Prospects of Financing through EU Funds” was held at the premises of the German association “St. Gerhard“ in Sombor from 21st to 23rd October 2015, as one in a series of training sessions on EU project development. The training was received by 15 representatives of governmental institutions and NGOs from the municipalities of Sombor, Odžaci, Sremska Mitrovica and Subotica.
During the three-day intensive seminar, the participants obtained detailed information about the programmes and funds available to institutions from the Republic of Serbia, whilst special attention was paid to the IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programmes with EU Member States, such as the Hungary-Serbia IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme and Croatia-Serbia IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme, which were relevant to West-Bačka District. The second day of the training, the participants gained hands-on experience in CBC project development by formulating the basic project elements in the logical framework. The training course resulted in two project ideas. The last day of the training was reserved for project budgeting and filling in of application forms.
