Organised jointly by the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and Regional Chamber of Commerce Novi Sad, an informative meeting under the title “Prospects for funding projects aimed at SMEs 2014-2020“ was held on 28th January 2014, which aimed at informing the members of SME sector of South Bačka District on the structure and operation of the new Community Programmes: HORIZON 2020 and COSME, to be funded by the European Union from 2014 to 2020.

The Republic of Serbia has access to HORIZON 2020, whereas according to the plan, it will gain access to COSME in the first half of 2014 by signing the Memorandum of Understanding between the European Commission and the Government of the Republic of Serbia, which will facilitate the participation of our institutions in projects under the Programme. The presentation was attended by more than 90 representatives of companies and institutions of South Bačka District.
