“European Educational and Democracy Development Centre” being established

In cooperation between the Office for European Affairs and Confederation of Autonomous Trade Union of the City of Novi Sad, a press conference has been held at the Office for European Affairs, upon the opening of the “European Educational and Democracy Development Centre”.

“At the time of economic challenges and social tensions, it is most important to promote European standards related to worker protection and enhancement of social dialogue as the main value of European process. On the basis of signed Protocol on Cooperation, those who have announced their participation, apart from the Office for European Affairs and Confederation of Autonomous Trade Union of the City of Novi Sad, are our partners from the European Parliament, Swedish Olof Palme Foundation, Provincial Secretariats, National Employment Service and others. We would like if the centre was a good basis for new initiatives with reference to further education, requalification, additional qualifications and acquisition of knowledge on European experiences”, said Predrag Novikov, Director of the Office for European Affairs.
