Seminars on cross-border cooperation programmes are being held all over the province this week, which has been organised by the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Office for European Affairs.

Yesterday the Hungary-Serbia Cross-border Programme was presented in Senta and Kanjiža.

Predrag Novikov and Igor Bajić of the Office for European Affairs presented under what conditions institutions in all Vojvodina could apply for a record of more than €16.6 million by the European Union. The attendees in Kanjiža were pleased with the fact that long-term cooperation in border regions with Hungary could results in projects the EU would positively assess.

To serve as a reminder, the priorities in this Call of Proposals under the Cross-border Programme are environmental protection, culture, infrastructure, SMEs, education, and the most important condition for the submission of project proposals is a cross-border partner.
