The Office for European Affairs on tour in Bečej

Seminars on cross-border cooperation programmes are being held all over the province this week, which has been organised by the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Office for European Affairs.

Today the Hungary-Serbia Cross-border Programme has been presented in Bečej.

Predrag Novikov and Andrija Aleksić of the Office for European Affairs presented under what conditions institutions in all Vojvodina could apply for a record of more than €16.6 million by the European Union. The attendees in Bečej were pleased with the fact that the Office for European Affairs could provide them with further information about the strict Call for Proposals, in which the priorities are environmental protection, culture, infrastructure, SMEs and education. It was reiterated that the most important condition for the submission of project proposals is a cross-border partner. Colleagues from Bečej already have traditionally good cooperation with Hungarian districts.
