Novikov and Zloh visited Kovačica Municipality

The Vice-president of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Martin Zloh and the Director of the Office for European Affairs, Predrag Novikov have visited Kovačica Municipality and talked with municipal authorities about the new Romania – Serbia Cross-border Cooperation (CBC) Programme.

“€11 million under the framework of the programme are a solid opportunity for institutional development in Banat. The programme priorities are strengthening of economic cooperation, modernization of local roads, strengthening of the communal sector, and special emphasis has been given to water cleaning and flood prevention. All this presents a solid potential for Kovačica and other Banat municipalities to seize the opportunity. The deadline for application is 29 July and we are here today to help our colleagues from Kovačica use the opportunities offered to them“, said Predrag Novikov.

The Vice-president of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Martin Zloh presented together with the municipal authorities the Sport and Business Centre and the initiatives for the reconstruction of communal infrastructure and employment enhancement in the municipality.
