The Office for European Affairs has become a member of FRIENDS OF EUROPE

The Office for European Affairs has become a new member of an important European institution, FRIENDS OF EUROPE, pursuant to the Decision of the Executive Council to work on consolidation and steering of the activities of provincial institutions in the European integration processes and to cooperate with the international and European authorities and institutions.

FRIENDS OF EUROPE is a not-for-profit organisation based in Brussels. It makes a contribution to almost all issues on the European agenda, concentrating in particular on EU institutional reform, improving communication between EU and its citizens, EU development policy, external relations of the EU, energy and the environment and Europe’s social challenges. Thus, the Office for European Affairs has been teamed with British Telecom (BT), European Commission, Foundation Robert Schuman, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Gallup, Shell International, Volvo, Coca Cola, Toyota, OMV, etc.
