A meeting with the largest Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Flanders

On 26th January 2018, the representatives of AP Vojvodina in Brussels had a meeting with one of the directors of VOKA, the largest Chamber of Commerce and Industry Flemish Brabant. VOKA gathers over 18.000 businessmen of this Belgian region, representing a total of 65% of the economy of this rich and highly developed region.

The meeting was held in the light of the upcoming economic mission of Belgian businessmen, which is to take place in Belgrade from 19th March until 23rd March 2018, and which is being organized by the Economic and Trade Office at the Embassy of Belgium in Belgrade. The Vojvodina European Office in Brussels and VOKA will join forces to provide support to Flemish companies participating in the mission, and by separate meetings in Belgium, follow up on and encourage their further interest in doing business in our province i.e. in Serbia on the whole.

In addition to the aforementioned topic, the discussion touched upon the enhancement of relations between the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina and VOKA and joint future activities. Economic and political visits are planned to be organized in Ghent in the coming period. The visits would involve its most prominent institutes, factories, and especially Ghent harbour, which is also the largest industrial zone in the city.
