Third meeting of Stabilization and Association Committee in Brussels
Brussels hosted the third meeting of the Stabilization and Association Committee since the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between the European Union and Serbia took effect on 1st September 2013. The meeting considered the reforms Serbia had put in place and the country’s progress in meeting the political and economic criteria along its path toward full EU membership.
Representatives of Serbia and the European Commission reviewed the implementation of the Copenhagen criteria for EU accession and the SAA.
The third meeting was co-chaired by Catherine Wendt, Acting Director of the Directorate General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations, and Ksenija Milenkovic, Acting Director of the Serbian EU Integration Office.
As a member of the delegation, Branislav Bugarski, Provincial Secretary for Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-government, presented the positions of Vojvodina in the process. The meeting was also attended by the representatives of the Vojvodina Office in Brussels.
