The closing ceremony of the ОАSIS Youth Summer Camp

The OASIS Youth Summer Camp was officially closed at the city beach in Kanjiža on 22nd August.

 

Congratulating the organizers and winners of this year’s camp, Mihály Nyilas, Vice-president of the Provincial Government and Provincial Secretary for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities – National Communities, emphasized the importance of the camp which aimed at strengthening and fostering fair play, team spirit and tolerance  through innovative sports competitions. He also added that it was a great opportunity for young people to socialize and get to know each other.

 

In the period from 15th to 22nd August 15, the OASIS Youth Summer Camp brought together 138 young people from 16 high schools from the territory of AP Vojvodina.

 

The young people tried out the orienteering race and other versatile games, displaying their agility and skills. The event was organised by the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities – National Communities, with the support of the municipality of Kanjiža and European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina.

 

 

The project is co-financed under the Interreg – IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia 2014-2020 in the amount of EUR 499,000.81. The project partners are the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities – National Communities, Municipality of Kistelek, Municipality of Kanjiža and European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina.
