Training course to “Active Women” in Bač

The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Nemanja Davidović and Zoran Pavić held a three-day training course “EU Funding Opportunities” to the employees of the Office for Local and Economic Development of Bač, representatives of the women’s association of Bač “Active Women” and employees of three elementary schools and the Tourist Organization of Bač.

At the beginning of the lectures, the participants were informed about the EU programmes and Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, with an emphasis on the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes. The training focused on the development of project proposal, use of logical framework and logical matrix approach, first in theory and then by doing exercises. The participants were divided into groups in which they developed two project ideas – to improve the position of women in rural areas and to implement successfully the conversion of the castle in Bačko Novo Selo into the Danube Information Centre. After that, the general and specific objectives, activities and results, indicators, sources of verification and project risks were defined. On the last day of the training course, the participants were acquainted with project budgeting, taking into account the restrictions imposed by the EU legislation.
