Creative Europe Forum 2018

Last week, 20-22 June, the traditional event of the Creative Europe Desk Serbia – Creative Europe Forum 2018 was held on several locations in Belgrade (Ilija M. Kolarac Foundation, Museum of Contemporary Art, Vuk’s Endowment, “Dositej Obradović” Endowment, Kvaka 22, Belgrade Youth Center, Legat Franklin, Polet Club, EU Info Centre).
The Forum was organized in cooperation with the embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria, the EU Delegation to the Republic of Serbia, EUNIC Global, and the State Institute for Culture of Bulgaria, on the occasion of Bulgaria’s presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The main topics in a number of events were: cultural cooperation, international relations and re-positioning of the Western Balkans; European Year of Cultural Heritage; culture of memory, history, European cultural heritage and its cultural, social and economic potentials and contributions; as well as practical knowledge: project development and application submission.
A large number of national and foreign experts took part in the Forum. The three-day event provided a framework for dialogue on the past and joint planning of a better and more responsible European future.
Based on the strategic commitment of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina on the path towards full membership in the European Union and strengthening the administrative capacities along this path, as well as the need to increase the opportunities for using the available European Union funds, the European Affairs Fund of  AP Vojvodina, signed the Agreement on the Establishment of the Antenna of Creative Europe Culture Desk Serbia with the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia on 14th November 2014. At that time, the Antenna became an integral part of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina.
The representatives of the Antenna of Creative Europe Culture Desk Serbia held presentations within the framework of the Creative Europe Forum 2018: Mina Radmilović Pjevac – Cooperation within the IPA programmes, and Dragana Srećkov and Jovan Rapajić – Creative Europe and tender procedure.
