Training course EU Funding Opportunities in Novi Bečej
At the invitation of the employees of Home for Elderly Persons “Sveti Vasilije Ostroški čudotvorac“ in Novi Bečej, a three-day training course “EU Funding Opportunities“ was held there 21-23 May 2018.
The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Dejana Luković, Jelena Radosavljević Rovčanin and Jelena Tošković, informed the participants about the EU programmes, placing a special emphasis on the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programmes. A most important document when developing projects – the logical matrix was presented, whereas the last day was devoted to the rather complex process of budget development. In addition to the theoretical part, the participants were divided into three groups on the first day in order to consolidate the topic previously presented by doing exercises. By the end of the course, they had drafted 3 project ideas, which they could submit as applications under the Interreg IPA CBC Programme Hungary-Serbia and Interreg IPA CBC Programme Romania-Serbia.
A curiosity about the three-day training course is that the participants have already been familiar with project development. Namely, they have had experience in writing projects at the provincial and national level, as well as in developing IPA projects and their projects were approved. This year they have applied for the first time under the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Romania-Serbia.
The training was interactive and the atmosphere was good. After completing the course, the participants were awarded certificates.
