The representatives of the European Funds of AP Vojvodina in a working visit to Kovin

The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of the AP Vojvodina, Milan Čežek, Nemanja Davidović and Zoran Pavić have paid a working visit to the municipality of  Kovin, within the activity of supporting the development of the municipalities of Vojvodina, and held a meeting with Zoran Nikolić, vice-president of the municipality of Kovin, Slađana Ćirkovački, coordinator of the Group for local economic development, and Olivera Tanasijević, assistant president of the municipality for social work.

The topic of the meeting was ongoing project proposals by means of which the municipality of Kovin applied under previous calls for EU funds, as well as plans for future projects. The project related to the inclusion of Roma in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs was being implemented.

In cooperation with the municipality Rešica and the municipality of Nova Moldova, the expert team of the municipality of Kovin was not successful with their applications submitted under the Interreg IPA CBC Programme Romania-Serbia 2014-2020 in the previous period, with the projects that were mainly related to communal infrastructure and emergency situations.

The representatives of the municipality pointed out that they were interested in re-submitting the project proposal with the Romanian partners, as well as establishing partnerships with organizations from Hungary to submit a project proposal under the Interreg IPA CBC Programme Hungary-Serbia 2014-2020. Reducing unemployment, water supply and exploring energy potentials were some of the potential topics.
