Call under EU programme for Information and Communication Technologies aimed at businesses open
The Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) is an EU programme aimed at businesses, stimulating business competitiveness, especially of SMEs, promoting innovation, especially eco-innovation, renewable energy resources, as well as accelerating the wider uptake and best use of innovative digital technologies.
The programme currently open is aimed at information and communication technologies (ICT). The call is open until 15 May 2013, and the programme budget is EUR 125 million. The areas covered by the programme are: health, environment, ageing and inclusions, energy efficiency, internet and safety, digitalisation and standards, as well as governmental administration. “Such calls are a great opportunity because our entrepreneurs are now in line with European ones, especially in ICT domain where we have already achieved significant results. We would also like to draw attention to the fact that the funds are donations and the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina will intensify its activities in the field in the months to come and give maximum support to optimise the utilisation of funds and to attract the funds to our country”, said Andrija Aleksić, Head of the Department for European Funds.
