Project description | Total project budget: EUR 1,789,074.92
EU contribution: EUR 1,520,713.67
Main objective: Improving cooperation and preventing the risk of disasters in the cross-border area of the Danube River through the improvement of skills and procedures of civil protection and fire and rescue operational forces.
Outputs: 1. Developing proposed Joint solutions and an Action plan for dealing with disasters on the Danube river, 2. Joint field exercises, 3. Procedures and guidelines for dealing with crisis situations on the Danube river.
Activities: 1. Establishment of a Joint working group, 2. Data collection and processing for creating Joint river traffic analysis, 3. Roundtables of key stakeholders in the civil protection and fire and rescue operational forces system, 4. Developing an Action plan for dealing with disasters on the Danube river, 5. Procurement of equipment and education of civil protection and fire and rescue operational forces, 6. Training and certification for vessel management and water rescue training, 7. Education related to water interventions, 8. Joint field exercises aimed at strengthening the capacity of civil protection and fire and rescue operational forces, 9. Developing Solutions for dealing with crisis situations on the Danube river, 10. Promotional activities, 11. Media campaign.
Target groups: Vukovar-Srijem County and South-Bačka District, local self-governments, members of civil protection and fire and rescue operational forces from both sides of the border, general public |
