Training course “EU funding opportunities” in Sombor
On the invitation of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the West Bačka Administrative District, representatives of the European Affairs Fund of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina conducted a three-day training course titled “EU funding opportunities”. The training was attended by representatives of the Regional Chamber of Commerce, as well as representatives from the City Administration of Sombor, public enterprises, cultural institutions, and certain non-governmental organizations.
The goal of the training was to equip participants with the skills to manage European Union funds, enabling them to independently formulate project proposals and strategically position them within the defined priorities arising from the new Multiannual Financial Framework of the European Union for the period 2021–2027.
Representatives of the European Affairs Fund of APV introduced participants to EU programs, as well as the Instrument for Pre-Аccession Assistance, with a focus on Interreg–IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme. The training covered topics such as writing project proposals using the logical framework approach and logical matrix, initially through theory and subsequently through exercises. This included defining general and specific objectives, activities and results, as well as indicators, sources of verification, and project risks.
On the last day, participants familiarized themselves with project budgeting, mastering it through a series of examples and practical exercises.
