A new call for applications for Individual Mobility within the Culture Moves Europe programme is launched

The European Union has launched a new call for applications for Individual Mobility within the Culture Moves Europe programme. Culture Moves Europe is a mobility programme funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme. This programme is aimed at artists and cultural professionals from Creative Europe countries. The call is open until 30th April 2026, and applications are reviewed and grants are awarded on a monthly basis, in accordance with the principle of continuous selection.
The aim of this call is to enable mobility and artistic collaboration through individual projects implemented in another Programme Country. Support is intended for those who want to develop new ideas, improve their skills, connect with partners or explore new cultural and professional contexts.
Who can apply?
The call for individual mobility allows applications from individuals and groups of up to 5 people, who are:
- 18 years of age or older
- legally residing in one of the Creative Europe countries, including the overseas countries and territories and outermost regions
- active in one of the following sectors: architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts, and visual arts
No specific level of experience is required
What is required to apply?
Each person or group applies for one artistic or cultural project to be implemented in another Creative Europe country, with the support of one international partner. The partner can be a person or an organisation participating in the implementation of the project.
The project must pursue at least two of the following four objectives:
- learn (develop new skills, knowledge or approaches)
- create (work on a new artwork or process)
- explore (discover a new cultural context or scene)
- connect (establish new collaborations or audiences)
Financial suport
All selected candidates receive a daily allowance of 85 euros for each day of the project. In addition to the daily allowance, the program also covers other mobility costs, such as travel costs, as well as additional funds if additional accessibility measures for people with disabilities are needed.
Documentation required
Along with the online application, applicants must submit the following documents:
- official identification document (ID card or passport)
- proof of legal residence in the participating country
- a short professional curriculum vitae (CV)
- artistic or professional portfolio
- a letter of invitation from an international partner (in English)
