In order to build the province capacities and intensify cooperation, the representative of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Andrija Aleksić presented the experiences and prospects of future cooperation among the province institutions from the aspect of EU funds at the Government of AP Vojvodina on 27th November 2013.

The presentation involved the experiences related to the 2007-2013 budget period and programmes that were available to institutions engaged in culture and media, as well as new programmes that would be available in 2014. It was emphasized that there were a large number of programmes to be available, however, preparation for submission of applications and networking of institutions were necessary. Furthermore, examples of good practice were presented in order for the attendees to gain insight into the types of projects financed from the EU funds allocated for that sector, regarding both the programmes of the Community and cross-border cooperation.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Provincial Secretariat for Culture and Public Information, culture institutions of the city and AP Vojvodina, the Institute for Culture and the media.
