The third international project meeting successfully organized in Nicosia within the framework of the IndusTour project

Тhe third international meeting of partners of the IndusTour project, which is being implemented within the framework of the Interreg Europe Programme and organized by the project partners, was held in Nicosia, Cyprus, June 9th to 12th, 2026.
The meeting in Nicosia was dedicated to reviewing the progress of the project, planning of the future activities and exchanging good practices in the field of industrial tourism. During the first day, meetings of the Project Steering Committee and working sessions dedicated to project management, communication and dissemination of results were held. The program continued with a study visit to the company Alion Vegetables & Fruits Co. Ltd, and the day ended with a tour of the old town of Nicosia.
The second day was dedicated to an international conference on industrial tourism, during which examples of good practice from partner organizations were presented, including the activities of the Fund for European Affairs and Development of the AP Vojvodina and the potential of the AP Vojvodina in this area. In the afternoon, study visits were carried out to the mining sites Sia Quarry and North Mathiatis Mine, as well as to the company Axies Ventures Ltd.
On the third day, study visits were organized to the company Alambra Fresh Milk Ltd and the Vasilikos Power Station. The acquired experiences and examples of good practice will be used in the further implementation of project activities and the development of industrial tourism in the territory of the AP Vojvodina.
The IndusTour project, worth 1,400,678 euros, started on 1 May 2025 and will run until 31 July 2029. Its aim is to improve public policies aimed at the development of industrial tourism, with a focus on encouraging innovation, resilience and diversity of the tourism offer. The project involves six regional and local authorities from Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Poland and the Republic of Serbia, which, through joint work and exchange of experiences, contribute to the development of industrial tourism in their territories.
