“How to support media and information literacy in partnership between local authorities and citizens”
29.12.2020. – “How to support media and information literacy in partnership between local authorities and citizens”- is the title of a document prepared by the Digital Democracy Network based on the results of the second international event entitled ‘’IN THE AGE OF INFORMATION, IGNORANCE IS A CHOICE? – ON MEDIA AND INFORMATION LITERACY’’ which was organized online in the period from 5 to 7 October 2020 in Novo Mesto (Slovenia).
The event was organized in the framework of the Network of Towns “Supporting Democratic Union and Active Citizenship in Digital Era”. The event resulted in a better understanding of the impact of digital literacy on local and European democracy: civic participation, elections process, campaigning, citizens’ safety online.
