Training course “EU Funding Opportunities“ in Mali Iđoš
At the request of the municipality of Mali Iđoš, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Mina Radmilović Pjevac and Tijana Krstić Maravić held the three-day training course “EU Funding Opportunities” from 19th to 21st October 2016 to familiarise the members of the local self-government, public companies, schools and NGOs, who took part in the training, with the topic of project funding.
During the training course, the participants were informed about the structure and way of application submission under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) 2014-2020 with special focus on cross-border cooperation programmes available to institutions in AP Vojvodina. The theoretic part of the training was accompanied by tasks carried out working groups, when the participants could develop their project ideas together with the lecturers. The presentation involved the tools for the development of project ideas, such as the problem tree and objective tree, logical framework and grouping of activities into work packages. Likewise, the necessary steps and procedures prescribed by the European Union regarding the budgeting of project proposals were presented based on a practical example. After the training course, the participants were awarded a certificate on successful training competition.
