A training course for representatives of non-institutional cultural scene

In cooperation with the Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation, the first in a series of training sessions “EU Funding Opportunities”, with a special focus on Creative Europe, has been held for representatives of NGOs in the field of culture and individuals, free artists and interested workers in culture. The three-day training course was held from 13th to 15th March in the former castle and rifle range “Egység”, which today serves as a cultural station in Novi Sad.

The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Sanja Čuturilov Veselinović, Jovana Rapajić and Tamara Glišić-Krivošija presented Creative Europe – the EU programme for culture and audiovisual arts, as well as the cross-border cooperation programmes financed under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance. The participants learned how to transfer their ideas into European projects using the logical framework approach and the logical matrix. On the last day of the training, the participants were introduced to the basics of project budgeting, as well as to the parts of the application form to apply for available EU funds. In small group work, the participants developed project ideas that focused on the preservation of the tamburitza and tamburitza culture in Vojvodina and Slavonia, furthermore on increasing the inclusion of persons with disabilities in arts, as well as on the promotion of activities in ​​culture aimed at young people.
