Lecture by a Slovenian guest lecturer
On Saturday, Кlemen Strmšnik, guest lecturer from Slovenia, held a lecture on the topic of “Experience of Slovenia in EU Project Development and Implementation” within the framework of the fourth cycle of the Specialized Programme “Management of Regional Development through EU Funds”, which is being organized by the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina in cooperation with EDUCONS University from Sremska Kamenica.
Mr. Strmšnik presented the funds available to Slovenia, challenges encountered in the pre-accession process, the process of application in practice (all the elements that should be taken into account), with a special emphasis on the fact that a “successful submission of the application does not guarantee the approval of the project”. Emphasis was also put on the importance of the project team and what features the project leader should have.
He presented in detail examples of good practice among which were the VINARIUM project, the Regional Centre for Creative Economy – RCCE project, the LIBRARY OF THINGS project, the CURS COLAPIS project and many others.
