On European cooperation with pupils and official in the municipality of Sečanj
On 8 April 2019, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Milan Čežek, Teodora Milkov Manić, Jelena Radosavljević Rovčanin and Zoran Pavić, visited the municipality of Sečanj where they were welcomed by Slobodan Rakić, vice-president of the municipality, and his associates.
During the meeting, an agreement was made to enhance direct cooperation between the representatives of local self-government and the Fund, so as increase the use of EU funds to a larger extent. The discussion also touched upon the provision of assistance in the selection and development of EU projects and future training courses in the municipality of Sečanj by the employees of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, which would be aimed not only at the representatives of the administration, but in the widest sense – at all those interested in the municipality.
At the initiative of the municipal representatives, the lecture “Get to know the EU” was held for the sixth-grade pupils of the following elementary schools: “Ivo Lola Ribar” in Sutjeska, “Aleksa Šantić” in Sečanj, “Slavko Rodić” in Krajišnik and “Stevan Aleksić” in Jaša Tomić.
A similar lecture will also be held in several schools next week.
