Second training course on EU project development for the representatives of the Association of Preschool Teachers of Vojvodina

The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Tamara Glišić and Tijana Krstić Maravić, held the second training course “EU Funding Opportunities” for the employees of educational institutions of Vojvodina. The training course was held at the Preschool Teacher Training College – Novi Sad from 23rd to 25tth March 2016.  The objective of the training was to develop the attitudes and skills of teachers of different preschool institutions, so that they could take an active role in EU project development.

During the three-day training, the participants were informed about the opportunities offered by the European programmes and funds to institutions in the Republic of Serbia and learned about the project development methodology. In the informative part, the presentation involved the cross-border cooperation programmes, above all the Interreg IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia 2014-2020 and the Interreg IPA CBC Croatia-Serbia 2014-2020, as well as the EU programmes, with the focus on Erasmus+, the EU program covering education, training, youth and sport, and Europe for Citizens, available for CSOs and units of local self-government.

In the practical part of the training, the participants gained hands-on experience in drafting the basic project elements, through the logical framework analysis. As a result, four project ideas were designed. On the last day, the budgeting of EU projects and the structure of the application form were presented.
