End of Internship of Students of University of Novi Sad in School Year 2010/2011

Upon the completion of internship at the European Affairs Fund, certificates have been awarded to interns – students of University of Novi Sad today at the Rector’s Office of the University.

Upon the completion of internship at the European Affairs Fund, certificates have been awarded to interns – students of University of Novi Sad today at the Rector’s Office of the University. The certificates were jointly awarded by Predrag Novikov, director of European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, and Prof. Miroslav Vesković, PhD, rector of the University.

On the basis of the Protocol on Cooperation signed between the University of Novi Sad and European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina in November last year within the framework of the Students‘ Internship Programme at the Fund in school year 2010/2011, the interns had a chance to get hands-on experience of the Fund’s activities and could gain insight into the processes of Europeisation and introduction of European standards into our country, with special focus on EU funds, European regional cooperation programmes and design of project proposals to apply for different European funds. Moreover, the interns participated in round tables, seminars and other events organized by the European Affairs Fund. The interns were expected to perform certain tasks within the Fund’s usual scope of activities, 15 hours per week according to set timetable, which they accomplished successfully, according to their mentors employed at the Fund. Furthermore, the interns showed a good level of knowledge and different skills (foreign language knowledge, computer literacy etc.).

Ten interns have successfully finished the internship: Svetlana Pavić, Angela Sladić, Sandra Svirčević, Milovan Rankov, Miljan Radonjić, Ana Muškinja, Biljana Bošnjak, Višnja Vujadinović, Jovana Kovrlija and Ivana Đurović. They are master’s degree students and graduates from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Economy and Faculty of Technical Sciences.
