EU funding opportunities in education

To build the institutional capacities for the use of EU funds in primary and secondary education in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

Expected results:

(1)    Training in the use EU funds for 25 representatives of the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities – National Communities (September 2013) provided;

(2)    Protocol on Cooperation between the Provincial Secretariat and European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina (March 2014) signed;

(3)    Joint conference “Prospects for using EU funds in education“ for over 140 representatives of educational institutions in AP Vojvodina (June 2014) organised;

(4)    Launched call for licensed teachers’ professional training in AP Vojvodina for preparation of educational projects (July 2014);

(5)    279 attendees from 132 educational institutions at 10 sites trained (Kanjiža, Sremska Mitrovica, Kikinda, Vršac, Subotica, Sombor, Vrbas, Zrenjanin, Novi Sad i Inđija) and certified within the span of 11 held training courses (October 2014 – May 2015);

(6)    Two certificate awards organized in the Assembly of AP Vojvodina for 279 attendees of the training course “EU funding opportunities” (February and September 2015).

Main activities:

(1)    Institutional capacity building at the Provincial Secretariat for the EU funds use and EU project management;

(2)    Enhancement of the cooperation between the Provincial Secretariat and European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina;

(3)    Information dissemination to educational institution members in AP Vojvodina on the prospers for using EU funds in education;

(4)    Provision of training courses in municipalities of AP Vojvodina to  improve the institutional capacities of educational institutions for the use of EU funds;

(5)    Organisation of certificate awards for training course attendees.

Target groups: Employees of the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities – National Communities, head teachers of educational institutions at the level of primary and secondary education in AP Vojvodina, licenced teachers of primary, secondary and vocational schools, as well as dormitories.
