On the initiative of the Consulate General of Montenegro in the Republic of Serbia, in the period from the beginning of September to the middle of October of this year, three cycles of the training course “EU funding opportunities” were held in Vrbas for representatives of the National Council of the Montenegrin National Minority, as well as for the representatives of non-governmental sector associations that deal with the issues of the Montenegrin national minority in Serbia.

Representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina adapted the training to the needs and priorities of the National Council and associations in order to train them to attract grants from European Union funds and programs, through strategic positioning within defined priorities and measures, as well as financial frameworks. The participants had the opportunity to learn how to transfer their ideas into European projects using the logical framework and the logical matrix approach. On the last day of the training, topics related to project budgeting and the application form necessary to apply for available European Union funds were analyzed.

After lectures and practical work through exercises, certificates were awarded to participants.
