Training course “EU Funding Opportunities“in the Red Cross of Vojvodina

The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina Jovana Kontić and Sanja Čuturilov Veselinović held a three-day training course from 26 to 28 February 2020 in the Red Cross of Vojvodina. The participants were the members of the Red Cross from Bečej, Kula, Sremski Karlovci, Мali Iđoš, Vrbas, Subotica, Senta, Stara Pazova, Žitište, Inđija, Novi Bečej, Nova Crnja, and Ruma.

In the very beginning, the participants were informed about the EU Programmes and Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, focusing on the INTERREG IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme. The participants have learnt which institutions have the possibility to get grants from the EU funds, through the cooperation with partner institutions from the region and joint project proposal writing. The goal of the training course involved how to write a project proposal using the logical framework and logical matrix approach, first in theory, and then by gaining hands-on experience, when the overall and specific objectives, activities and results, together with the indicators, sources of verification and risks of the project, were defined.

On the last day, the participants of the training were informed about the project budgeting, which, they practically mastered by doing a number of examples.

At the end of the training, 3 excellent project ideas were developed which the participants could submit as applications under the available INTERREG IPA CBC Programmes. Participants were awarded certificates at the end of the training course.
