The fourth project meeting of the Mos-Cross2 project was held

The meeting was attended by members of the project team, the Teaching Institute for Public Health of Osijek-Baranja County (leading partner), representatives of the Public Health Institute of Sombor, the Institute of Public Health of Požega-Slavonia County, representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina and the Institute of Public Health Novi Sad.
Prof. Dr. Sanja Bijelović greeted everyone present in front of the Institute for Public Health of Vojvodina. The institute presented the process of setting mosquito traps, and gave a clear overview of the types of mosquitoes that were found in the traps, and it was highlighted how useful the trainings were for health workers where they learned the types and determination of mosquitoes.
Sanja Čuturilov Veselinović presented the ongoing activities of the Fund and upcoming activities within the project. Photos of all mosquito billboards installed so far, 30 billboards in total, are shown. The partners agreed on the dates for the upcoming round tables and project meetings.
In front of the Sombor Institute of Public Health, Dragan Višekrunić stated that all activities are going according to plan, that mosquito billboards have been placed and that their maintenance is ongoing.
During September, it is expected that all billboards will be installed at partners in Croatia as well. Sampling and analysis of mosquitoes is proceeding according to plan at the Teaching Institute for Public Health in Osijek, as well as at the Institute for Public Health of Požega-Slavonia County.
