Training for IPA funds held at the Office for European Affairs

Novi Sad,22 November – A training session on how to write projects to apply for the EU IPA Funds has been held today and it has been organized by the Office for European Affairs. Predrag Novikov, Director of the Office for European Affairs, greeted the participants, who were employees of the administration of South Bačka District, and emphasized the importance of training people in Vojvodina in project writing.

“I would like to thank the management of South Bačka District for taking the initiative on human resource training. The EU IPA Funds and the prospects they offer to us as a country are great, and it is necessary to obtain training in project writing in the shortest possible time”, said Novikov. Darija Šajin, Head of South Bačka Administration District, encompassing twelve municipalities of Vojvodina and 600,000 people, emphasized that it was a common goal to raise the district to a higher level. Andrija Aleksić, Office for European Affairs, talked about the possibilities of financing by means of regional policy instruments, process of application, logical matrix, budget and evaluation.
