The Fund and Vojvodine Development Agency in Kula and Bačka Topola

Within the framework of established cooperation with the Vojvodina Development Agency, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Milan Čežek and Zoran Pavić, paid a working visit to the municipalities of Kula and Bačka Topola on 29 May 2018.

The Vojvodina Development Agency was presented by Nikola Žeželj, Director and Živko Planić, Advisor. The visits to municipalities of Kula and Bačka Topola were organized in order to give an incentive for the municipal activities in the direction of better monitoring and use of EU funds, attraction of foreign investors in order to build and strengthen the institutional capacities of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

In the Municipality of Kula, the hosts were Karolj Valka, deputy municipality president and his associates, while in Bačka Topola, the hosts were Dijana Krnjac, assistant presidents of the municipality, and Stevan Ančevski.

A more active and constant cooperation between the representatives of these two municipalities with the Fund and Vojvodina Development Agency was agreed so that the municipalities could get more acquainted with contemporary trends, calls and tools that would help them attract foreign investments on the one hand, and to use EU funds to a greater extent, on the other hand.

The municipal representatives expressed a need for further qualification of their staff in use of EU funds, wherefore, a general agreement was made that the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina would soon hold training courses in these municipalities.
