On 13th November 2018, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Milan Čežek and Zoran Pavić, as well as the representative of the Development Agency of Vojvodina, Živko Planić, visited the municipalities of Bač and Odžaci to enhance the monitoring and implementation of European processes and strengthening of the institutional capacities of AP Vojvodina.
In Bač, their hosts were Borislav Antonić, President of the Municipality, Valentina Sitnić, Head of the Municipal Administration, Jelena Kovačević, Head of the Department for Economy, Nikola Banjac, senior officer at the Office for Local and Regional Development-coordinator, and Lela Milenković, member of the Municipal Council for Education. In the previous period, the municipality of Bač was granted three projects: “LIST OF PROPERTY”, with a value of EUR 200,000 EUR the Exchange 5 Programme, “Assistance at home, to elderly people and persons with disabilities”, with a value of EUR 180,000 under the INTERREG IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Romania-Serbia, as well as a project aimed at recruiting young people under the Danube Transnational Programme. The partner on the latter project is Bački Petrovac, and the project budget is EUR 180,000.
The hosts in the municipality of Odžaci were Latinka Vasiljković MA, Mayor of the Municipality, Marko Perišić newly appointed coordinator and senior officer at the Office for Local and Economic Development, Igor Praća, Deputy President of the Municipality, Milivoje Radoičić, member of the Municipal Council for Economy, Small and Medium Enterprises. The hosts indicated that the implementation of the “INCLUSION OF ROMA” project, with the total value of EUR 1,000,000.00, is coming to an end. Both municipalities expressed their wish for a better and more comprehensive cooperation, from training courses to project implementation.
