FEP Tours in Titel and Žabalj

On 15 November 2018, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Milan Čežek and Zoran Pavić, as well as the representative of the Development Agency of Vojvodina (RAV), Živko Planić, visited the municipality of Titel, where they were welcomed by Dragan Božić, President of the Municipality with his associates, and the municipality of Žabalj, where the hosts were Milorad Trgić, coordinator and Ivana Zivčevski, Office for Local Economic Development.
An agreement was made to establish a more direct and comprehensive cooperation between the representatives of local self-governments and the Fund and RAV, with the aim of maximizing the use of EU funds and attracting foreign investment more efficiently.
In both municipalities, there was lack of submitted applications for EU funds and modest project implementation, and it was agreed that the Fund should provide support through the training course “EU Funding Opportunities”. The municipality of Title was interested in the Fund’s visit to elementary schools in on its territory to raise the pupils’ awareness of the history and functioning of the European Union.
