OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM
To support cultural sector initiatives, such as those promoting cross-border cooperation, platforms, networking and literary translation;
To support audiovisual sector initiatives, such as those promoting the development, distribution, or access to audiovisual works;
To support cross-sectoral strand, including a Guarantee Facility and transnational policy cooperation.
PRIORITIES AND MEASURES
The Creative Europe programme has two sub-programmes, CULTURE and MEDIA, in addition to the cross-sectoral strand.
SUB-PROGRAMME 1– Culture – performing and visual art, inheritance and other areas
EUROPEAN PROJECTS of cooperation between cultural and creative organisations from different countries;
EUROPEAN NETWORKS helping the cultural and creative sector to operate transnationally and competitively;
EUROPEAN PLATFORMS to promote emerging artists and stimulating European programming for cultural and art works;
LITERARY TRANSLATIONS, initiatives for translation and promotion of literary works across the European Union.
