On European cooperation in Plandište and Alibunar
Milan Čežek and Senka Bengin, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, together with Nataša Rončević and Tijana Mirković, the representatives of the Vojvodina Development Agency, have visited the municipalities of Plandište and Alibunar.
In Plandište Municipality, the meeting was held with Goran Donevski, Vice-president of the municipality, and Branka Pantić, Head of Department for Economy, Local Economic Development, Finance and Budget, and their associates.
In Alibunar Municipality, the meeting was held with Kosa Nikolić, Head of Department for Economy, Development and Public Services, and Oliver Filipović, Vice-president of the municipality for finances, and their associates.
During the meetings, an agreement was made to establish a more comprehensive and direct cooperation between the representatives of the local self-government and the Fund, regarding the EU funding opportunities by providing assistance in the selection and development of EU projects and future training courses in Plandište and Alibunar for all interested persons from the municipalities by the employees of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina.
The municipal representatives presented the problems they were facing – namely, the need to reconstruct the nursery school; the dressing room in the local football club; the façade and carpentry in the schools – which could be solved through the realisation of EU projects, in which the Fund would assist them.
During the meetings, the discussion also touched upon the prospects for cooperation between the representatives of the local self-government and the Vojvodina Development Agency through the use of subsidies and drafting of development documents directly concerning the public local self-government.
