Contract of the “Virtual and Cultural Tour – ViCTour” project within the First Call of the INTERREG IPA CBC Programme Croatia – Serbia signed

In Vinkovci, Croatia, a contract on the EU “ViCTour” project has been signed, which will be implemented by the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina and Vukovar-Srijem County, acting as the Leading Partner, in addition to the Tourist Board of the Vukovar – Srijem County, Tourist Organization of Vojvodina and Faculty of Economics of the University of Novi Sad.

The signing of the contract under the First Call of the Interreg IPA CBC Programme Croatia – Serbia, worth EUR 922,761, was attended by Gabrijela Žalac, Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatian, Stella Arneri,  Director of the Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia,  Božo Galić, Mayor of Vukovar-Srijem County, and on the Serbian side, Vidosava Enderić, Director of European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, and Aleksandar Grubor, Dean of the Faculty of Economics.

The project, which aims at improving the enhancement of inland tourism in the border region and which result is a distinctive identity of the Srem District and Vukovar Srijem County, will last 28 months. As far as the amounts of the project budget are concerned, the budget of Vukovar-Srijem County is EUR 280,802, of the Tourist Board of Vukovar Srijem County EUR 172,127, of the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina EUR 116,929, of the Faculty of Economics EUR 154,299, and of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina EUR 198,602.
