The first joint project team meeting of the “The complex water management development of the area of the Baja-Bezdan Canal – BABECA” project

The first joint project team meeting of the “The complex water management development of the area of the Baja-Bezdan Canal – BABECA” project was held in Novi Sad on 20 December 2017. It was organised by European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. The meeting aimed at evaluating the first project period and preparation for the following one.

The project is “The complex water management development of the area of the Baja-Bezdan Canal – BABECA”, of the total budget EUR 8,699,537.91, is one of the successful projects approved under the Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia, aimed at improving the cross-border water management and risk prevention systems. The project is being implemented jointly by the Lower Danube Valley Water Directorate, PWMC “Vode Vojvodine, and European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
